Throughout the entire school year, the step team practiced three days a week. They performed during both the homecoming and spirit assemblies.
We hope the Step Team
will be something we can do
year after year. The students
have come together as a team,
and hope to be recognized as an
official sport at our school.
Also,
they were invited to Hubert elementary of Detroit to not only perform but
to teach the students some step moves.
The children loved them and have already asked them back for next
year. They continue to work
on new step routines, and are planning to have a step off at our school
where they invite other local high schools to compete.
