Parents and guardians visit the Storyline Online website to access interactive is a fabulous resource to read with your children.

 About the Pre-School Program   

Parents are required to pick up a Residency / Preschool Enrollment Packet at Student Services Office located in the Shear Building at 26141 Schoolcraft, Redford. The Enrollment Packet must
be returned at the time of registration.

South Redford School District students must be 4 years of age by December 1, 2009, and residents of South Redford School District.  Proof of residency is required for this tuition free program.

Students will participate in activities that are designed to encourage the development of readiness skills necessary for a successful kindergarten experience.  Each student attends two-class sessions, for two hours and 15 minutes, twice each week for a total of 56 class sessions. Parents, or an alternate adult, must attend 8 of these sessions to work individually with their child. F.Y.I. Registration or participation in the South Redford Preschool Program
DOES NOT mean your child is registered for kindergarten. 

We do forward copies of your child’s birth certificate and residency affidavit to the elementary school. You will need to contact your local elementary school to register your child for kindergarten.

As an important language experience for your child, we will be encouraging all the children to bring items from home to use in a planned classroom activity. If appropriate, please encourage your child to discuss his / her contribution with you in advance.
