Benefits of the South Redford
Latchkey Program
Many parents in South Redford have schedules that require them
to be away from home during the hours before school and after
school. The search for reliable child care has been difficult
for many and impossible for some. In response to the needs of
these families for a safe and happy place for their children to
spend before and after school hours, South Redford Schools is
offering a Latchkey Program at the South Redford Student
Services building. The South
Redford Latchkey Program is available to any elementary school
age student, grades K-5, enrolled in the South Redford Schools.
Parents who have schedules that require them to be away from
home during the hours before and after school may take advantage
of this program. The supervised activities in the program are
varied and include free play, art projects, board games, and
quiet time for homework and reading. |
