10th
through 12th grade students may elect a maximum of two courses
over the two day week. Walk in
registration at Thurston High School is available from Tuesday, January 22, 2008
through Friday, February 1, 2008 from 7:30AM until 3:30PM.
Attendance:
1.
Regardless of the reason for absence, students who are absent more
than 3 times to any class will not receive credit and will not be able to
attend the duration of the program.
No refunds will be given after the third
class for all students registered in the 10th through 12th
grade program.
2.
Students must demonstrate acceptable standards of behavior. Students must be courteous, respectful,
and cooperative in their relationships with fellow students, staff members,
other school employees and members of the community.
3.
The following are NOT permitted in night school or on any school
property: Cigarette papers, pipes,
lighters, tobacco products, any item(s) used for smoking or in the drug
culture, hats,
communication devices, pagers, radios, tape/cd
players, video recorders, portable televisions, laser pens, headsets, or other items deemed to contribute to
improper behavior.
4.
Students found in violation of school policy or exhibiting serious
behavioral problems, such as fighting or possession of illicit materials may be immediately removed from the program without a
refund.
Any seriously disruptive behavior or involvement with illicit materials
will result in legal prosecution.
5.
Dress Code and all other school policies apply as during the school
year.
6.
Skateboards and/or roller blades are NOT permitted
in the school building.
Bicycles must be secured outside of the school building .

10th – 12th Grade Classes: Math/Science Lab on Mondays;
English and Social Studies Lab on Tuesdays

Lab Hours are 5pm to 9pm (Grades 10-12)
·
Students electing online classes should have outside access to a
computer with high speed internet in order to
complete the courses.
·
It is anticipated that each course requires about 80 hours of work
to complete
·
Students taking online courses may finish before the end of the scheduled
lab dates.
