Second Season of Patriot Idol Class Act!
7th grader, Kristen Hoffman is the 2009 Patriot Idol.  Kristen took home the first place prize of a Wii Game System and trophy.  Congratulations to Kristen and all of this year's Patriot Idol contestants! All performers gave their best and had a great time.  Pierce teachers and staff did a fabulous job of providing entertainment while the judges counted votes. Patriot Idol is a NJHS fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Thank you to Christine Hofer, NJHS advisor who organized students and staff.  If you missed the event see links below. **UNFORTUNATELY moments before the announcement of the top 3 and the 2009 winner, a young student rushed the stage and accidentally unplugged the camera. Due to technical difficulties caused by the unforeseen circumstance,  the announcement of the top 3 and winner  was not recorded. However, the video does show each contestant, Pierce staff, and the final performance of the winner.

Student Assessment and Testing Schedule Information
Are you wondering about the next test your child will be taking. What is the DIBELS test?  What is the PLAN test and when will my child take the test?  When is the MEAP test? You can find the answers to these questions and become acquainted with assessment terms at the South Redford Assessment and Testing Schedule web site.

Are your child's immunizations records up to date?
Parents and guardians of a child enrolling in a school for the first time must submit a certificate showing required immunizations have been given.
