What is ParentConnection?
As part of the South Redford
School District's on-going effort to improve communication between
parents and our schools ParentConnection was implemented.
ParentConnection service provides parents with direct access to
student data via the Internet. Using a confidential login and
password, parents can connect to the school district's student
database using a web browser and view their child's data, such as
progress reports, attendance records, report cards, transcripts, and
more.
How do I obtain
a password and logon ID for ParentConnection?
All parents must have a logon password and id to logon
to view their child's data. If you do not have a password and id
you must go to your child's school in person and show your driver's
license or id to receive your password and id. This procedure is in
place to keep all students' information private and confidential.
When is information updated on
ParentConnection?
Information is "live", which means
you will see changes immediately after a change is made to your
student's data (attendance, grades, assignments, lunch, etc.).
Report cards and progress reports are not "live", they will not be
available until they are compiled and we publish them to the web
(generally several days after the end of the marking period).
Not all
types of information are available at all levels. The different
types of information that you can view include:
