Registration for the Kids' Care Summer Camp Program will be held at Jefferson Elementary from Monday, March 15 through Tuesday, March 30, at the following scheduled times:

Monday, March 15 9:30am – 6:30pm

Tuesday, March 16 8:00am – 1:30pm

Wednesday, March 17 8:00am – 1:30pm

Thursday, March 185:00pm – 6:30pm

Friday, March 19 8:00am – 12:00pm

JETS Celebrate Reading Month

Jefferson Elementary's Annual Scholastic Book Fair will be held Tuesday, March 16 through Friday, March 19, in the Media Center. Parents and guardians be sure to mark your calendar to Celebrate Reading Month with the Jets on the following dates and times:

Tuesday, March 16   9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

School Field Trip

The 2^nd Annual Jefferson Elementary All School Field Trip to the AMC 20 will be April 26^th. We will be seeing OCEANS, which goes along with our science benchmarks and will support content already being taught in the classroom. Have you turned in your permission slips and money to your teacher yet? If not, please do so by this Friday, March 12, 2010. We will be purchasing tickets very soon and will not be able to order more.

Jefferson Elementary Teams Up with American Heart Association

Jump Rope for Heart is a program where students jump rope during their physical education class while learning about the American Heart Association and heart health. It is a wonderful activity and a fun way to exercise and fight heart disease. Information about Jump Rope for Heart went home last week. Please take a moment to look over this information.

Those students that raise money for the American Heart Association will be invited to our Jump Rope for Heart Party on Monday, March 29 from 3:30 – 4:15 (a permission slip will be sent home).
