Annual Art On Loan Exhibition

The 7th Annual Art on Loan Exhibition was held Thursday, March 19, 2009, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Teachers Center located in the Administrative Offices at 26141 Schoolcraft. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the program this year.

The Art on Loan program is designed to recognize young artist of South Redford school district and heighten community awareness of the students’ artistic talents. The framed and matted artworks are available for a one-year lease to businesses and patrons at $50.00 per work. This non-profit program generates funds, which enable us to continue promoting student artwork annually. This is NOT a fundraiser, all funds raised are used to purchase materials for the next year's art work.

A special thank you Campbell's Paint and Wallpaper for the professionally matting and framing the artwork. Kathleen and Mary from Campbell's Pain have supported our program over the years.

The purpose of the Art on Loan is to share with the public our pride in the accomplishments of our art students. It is our hope that in “loaning” these works the business community will prominently display student artwork and in doing so become South Redford Public Schools’ leading art advocates.
