Strong school districts know if they want to succeed, they must be clear about two things: where they have been and where they are going. In 2000, focus groups were held throughout the District allowing parents, community members, staff and students to provide their perception of the South Redford School District. The results of the information gathered through the focus groups was used by the Strategic Planning Committee to develope our vision, mission statements, goals and measures.
Our District Strategic Plan consisting of four clear goals, which align with federal, state and District accreditation goals. To keep current and to ensure we are meeting the needs of our students the District Strategic Plan is reviewed frquently. The most recent review was approved by the Board of Education in January of 2010.
